Asia Noy

Asia Noy is a Thai restaurant that needed a full brand refresh after a change of ownership. The goal was to create a modern, clean, yet authentically Thai brand identity that reflects the restaurants new direction. The project included a new logo, a complete menu design, exterior signage, and a WordPress website to support both dine-in guests and online visitors. A consistent visual language with illustrations and a defined color palette (black, white, grey, and a warm accent orange) helped establish a cohesive brand experience.

Process

The core of the brand identity centered around a new logo with its own story and character. The “O” was transformed into a bowl, combined with chopsticks symbolically lifting soup — a subtle nod to Thai cuisine and the restaurant’s heritage. From there, the menu design became a key component. With over 20 dishes and beverages, the menu was crafted to tell the restaurant’s story, highlight the freshness and health aspects of the dishes, and enhance usability with clear spice-level indicators. Complementary illustrations in a reduced color style helped reinforce the Thai aesthetic without overwhelming the clean layout. The project also included collaboration with signage specialists to produce two large exterior boards. These showcased the full menu for guests arriving outside or after closing hours, and provided direction to the beer garden and entrance. Additionally, a WordPress website was created to give customers access to information, menus, and online ordering options. Photography sessions — including interior shots and dish photography — completed the visual identity and strengthened the brand presence.

Result

The final brand identity presents Asia Noy as a modern yet warm restaurant with a strong Thai character. The logo, menu, signage, illustrations, and photography work together to create a cohesive and inviting experience. The new website and exterior boards make it easier for guests to explore the menu and understand the offer before entering. Through ongoing communication and close collaboration with the client, the project delivered a polished, thoughtful, and functional brand system from print to digital.
