CREATU is a mobile app concept designed to connect people based on skills, services, and real-life needs — similar to a “Tinder for work,” but with a playful, creative twist.Users can offer their skills or search for someone who can help them, whether it’s a carpenter repairing a cabinet or a freelancer looking for new clients.The core idea: Create your “you” — users design a small avatar to represent themselves, making the process more human, fun, and approachable.The goal of the project was to develop a visually striking and modern app identity paired with a clear, intuitive interface that supports quick matching and simple user onboarding.
Design Approach
The app’s design language blends expressive visuals with functional UI elements to create a dynamic, memorable experience. Key design decisions included: • Bold visual identity using strong colors, geometric shapes and an energetic layout to reflect creativity and individuality • A modular UI system for profile creation, matching, requests, and messages — easy to scan, simple to navigate • Avatar illustrations that allow users to “build themselves” and visually express who they are • Friendly typography and iconography to keep the interface light, modern, and fun • Clear card-based layouts for browsing offers and requests, inspired by swipe-based interaction patterns • Flexible navigation optimized for fast decisions and easy exploration on mobile screens The challenge was to strike the right balance between playful design and professional usability — engaging enough to feel fun, but structured enough to support real-world work matching.

The final concept delivers a lively and intuitive app experience that turns networking into something simple, visual, and interactive. The identity, avatars, and UI system work together to create a unique atmosphere that sets CREATU apart from traditional classified or job platforms. With its strong visual language and streamlined interaction patterns, the app feels modern, approachable, and ready for real-world use in connecting skills and people.
