Die Fischfabrik
Die Fischfabrik is a modern fish-and-chips restaurant that needed a fresh, striking brand identity. The goal was to create a visual world that immediately communicates the product, the atmosphere, and the playful character of the brand.
Design Approach
The key challenge was developing a logo that feels handcrafted, friendly, and food-related without losing clarity or recognizability. The solution: a bold emblem in a deep, saturated red, paired with a clean beige/white wordmark. The central illustration shows a stylized fish — which cleverly doubles as a headscarf, referencing hygiene and kitchen culture. This dual symbolism gives the logo a memorable twist and a unique personality. Two logo variations were designed (compact & horizontal), supported by a consistent illustrative system. The visual identity expands into packaging: • fry boxes • takeaway bags • classic cardboard containers All decorated with a pattern of transparent icons that create a lively, modern texture. The overall look is bold, fun, and unmistakably “Fischfabrik.”
Result
The final identity gives Die Fischfabrik a strong and contemporary appearance. The vibrant color palette, the clever fish illustration, and the cohesive packaging system create a brand that stands out across all touchpoints — from storefront to takeaway boxes.
