UNBEWUSST is an awareness campaign created for the City of Stuttgart with the key message: From unconscious to intentional.The goal was to highlight everyday habits that harm the environment often without people realizing it and encourage them to make small, conscious changes in their daily routines.As part of the Green City Stuttgart initiative, the campaign aimed to reach a broad audience through a widely distributed printed flyer.

Design Approach

The challenge was to make the topic visually striking and impossible to ignore. To achieve this, the campaign uses strong complementary colors and a bold visual style designed to stand out in public spaces and immediately capture attention. The content was organized into three clear categories: • Recycling • Mobility • Food & Drink Each section highlights simple, practical tips that can easily be applied in everyday life. The contrast-heavy color system, minimal typography, and structured layout help transform subtle, everyday actions into conscious decisions — turning “unbewusst” (unconscious) into “Absicht” (intent).

Result

The final flyer serves as a compact, accessible tool for environmental education. Its bold design and clear messaging ensure high visibility and encourage people across Stuttgart to reconsider their habits, promoting small but meaningful changes in support of a more sustainable lifestyle.
